1. Who we are

This website is operated by NOIA (SASU), the company behind the AION project.

2. What data we collect

As part of our waitlist, we collect the following information:

For individuals:

  • – First and last name
  • – City and district
  • – Email address
  • – Whether or not an existing solution is already used to manage waiting, and if so which one
  • – Current approach to managing wait times, chosen from: “Without, I'm waiting”, “I seek calm spaces instead”, “Other” (free-text field)
  • – How they discovered AION, chosen from: Socials, Word of mouth, Google Search, A friend, Other
  • – Open-ended response about their experience with waiting (optional)

For businesses and venues:

  • – Type, size and name of the establishment
  • – City and district
  • – Email address
  • – Whether or not an existing solution is already used to manage waiting, and if so which one
  • – Current approach to managing wait times, chosen from: “Without”, “List on paper”, “Verbally”, “Other” (free-text field)
  • – How they discovered AION, chosen from: Socials, Word of mouth, Google Search, A friend, Direct approach, Other
  • – Open-ended response about managing wait times (optional)

This information is collected solely through the waitlist registration form. “Other” fields allow optional free-text input.

3. Why we collect your data

Your data is collected solely for the following purposes:

  • – To notify you first when AION launches
  • – To better understand the needs and habits of our future users and improve the product
  • – To occasionally contact you as part of the project's development

We will never send unsolicited commercial communications.

4. Hosting and data security

Your personal data is stored and processed via Supabase, whose servers are located in Europe, in compliance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

5. Analytics and traffic measurement

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool, to measure traffic, page visits and the geographic origin of visitors (country, city). Plausible does not collect any personally identifiable information and does not share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Plausible is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA and PECR. No prior consent is required. For more information: plausible.io/privacy

6. Email communications

If you have explicitly ticked the opt-in box during registration, your email address and first name may be transmitted to Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) for the purpose of sending you communications related to the AION launch.

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at contact@aionwaitapp.com.

The checkbox is unchecked by default — no marketing emails will be sent without your explicit consent.

7. Data sharing

We never sell your personal data to any third party.

Your data is never transferred, rented or exchanged with commercial partners or advertisers. The only possible transfer is to Brevo, solely for users who have given explicit consent (see section 6).

8. Data retention

Your data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of registration, after which it is permanently deleted from our databases.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • – Right of access — request to view the data we hold about you
  • – Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • – Right to erasure — request deletion of your data at any time
  • – Right to object — object to the processing of your data
  • – Right to data portability — receive your data in a readable format

10. Changes to this policy

In the event of a material change, registered users will be notified by email. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
